Hermiston Energy Services currently has no published special rates for larger companies or
specific incentive rates. However, based on the size and operating characteristics of the
proposed new electric load, along with other local economic benefits resulting from locating a
new electric load in the area, including incremental employment additions, HES welcomes
discussions that could result in electric rates that reflect such economic benefits to the City of Hermiston.
Hermiston Energy Services is a municipally-owned utility. To date, no decision has been made
as to whether, and under what terms and conditions, it will offer its customers direct access or
portfolio options.
